LearningTree Games Education Grant Program
A child’s home is where learning starts. There are many children whose homes may not be the nurturing learning environments that families would like them to be. However, we know there are individuals and organizations across the country who selflessly make a difference by helping to create an enhanced, effective learning environment for these children despite economic obstacles that must be faced.
We believe every child should have a chance to learn and grow to be self-confident, independent adults, regardless of their economic or social welfare. LearningTree Games created its Education Grant program to highlight the accomplishments and ongoing work of a few of the dedicated, deserving individuals and organizations each year who help make this dream a reality, one child at a time. We believe it is important to invest in our communities and bring to public attention the people who are dedicated to making our communities a better place by creating better learning opportunities for every child.
We want to pledge our support up front. Although 2006 was our first full year of operation, we will grant $1000 -- two $500 awards -- to individuals or organizations in the US that best represent the application of our learning mission to youth in need. We plan for this to be an annual grant program, so we may continue to reinvest a portion of our success in the communities that we serve across the US. We hope with the support of our loyal customers, to increase the number and amounts of each grant every year; by shopping with us, we, together, can expand our support for communities, children and families everywhere.
To apply for a LearningTree Games Education Grant, please mail or email your completed application to us by June 30, 2007. Award recipients will be selected by August 31, 2007, and winners will be notified and posted to our site within 30 days.
